Industries Served

Over the years SysTech has served clients in a wide variety of markets. We supply systems to address dust collection, ventilation/noise attenuation, explosion suppression and isolation, combustible dusts, VOC’s, oil mist, fume and acid gas and a host of other hazardous materials. Below is a list of the different types of industries we do business with every day.

Manufacturing Industry

Excess dust and noise is a major concern in the manufacturing industry. Some facilities may require fume collection of Chromium from welding operations while others need oil mist collection for machining operations. As air moving and cleaning equipment is installed, noise abatement structures and curtains are a secondary need. Code compliance questions need to be addressed as explosion, noise and breathable contaminant issues are commonplace.

Oil & Gas Industry

Gas compressor or transfer stations require an acoustical enclosure (metal building) with a ventilation system for control of high internal heat and excessive noise generation. Supplied equipment includes SysTech Lo-Noise™ Modules,  fan silencers, fans, louvers, dampers, EXP proof motors, ridge vents, heaters and gas sensor controls.

Pharmaceutical & Biotech Industries

Air quality and containment are the key issues in this industry. The proliferation of new drugs of increasing potency/volatility requires the handling of potentially toxic and explosive materials. Dust collectors use a bag-in/ bag-out (BIBO) procedure for changing filters and collected dust disposal. BIBO HEPA housings are frequently employed in the process stream.

Wastewater Treatment Industry

Corrosive environments are inherent in waste treatment plants and lift stations where FRP or PVC fans are frequently installed to prolong equipment life.  Odor control issues are addressed with an FRP or PVC exhaust system with wet scrubber, conveying duct and source capture hoods.

Power Industry

Power house ventilation requires large amounts of ventilation air. Results are formulated with multiple rooftop and wall mounted supply and exhaust fans along with custom air handlers. Careful selection is required as excessive noise levels directed onto adjacent properties is not tolerated.

Educational Services Industry

This industry encompasses colleges and universities, technical and trade schools and research laboratories in an academic setting.  These sites require ventilation systems comprised of dust and fume collection systems, laboratory exhausts of chemical fumes, along with protection against fire and explosion. Compliance to codes and protection of students, operating personal and facilities is a primary focus in these environments.

Cement Industry

Numerous points of dust generation require localized bin vents, transfer points, and at times a centralized dust collection system with a material reclaim blower package. Complete equipment packages along with all electrical alarms, sensors, pneumatic controls and piping make up the completed control system.

Food Industry

Sufficient ventilation is important for the processing of raw foods and keeping fruits and vegetables fresh to market.   Meeting design airflow to poultry houses where the raising of chickens and turkeys for meat, eggs or recovered byproducts is mandatory.

Modular Home Industry

Assembly of home room modules creates numerous points of dust generation from operation of power hand tools. A centralized vacuum conveying system attached directly to each tool, including piping and controls comprises an effective exhaust cleaning system.
