PDH Education and Training
Professional Development Hours
Professional Development Hours are an important part of renewing an engineering license. Most states require continuing education by requiring professional development hours (PDH). At SysTech Design we would like to offer technical presentations to earn PDH’s while improving your business and knowledge base. These are not sales presentations and a Certificate of Completion is issued to all those in attendance.
Current PDH Topics
SysTech Design, Inc.
• Selection of Fans and Blowers
• Large Steel Building Ventilation
• Dust Collection System Design – The 7 “C”s of an APC System
IEP Technologies – HOERBIGER Safety Solutions
• Combustible Dust and Explosion Prevention Implementation
• Explosion Suppression and Isolation Alternatives
Donaldson Company
• Filter Media and MERV Ratings
Hartzell Air Movement
• Applying FRP Fans in Water and Wastewater Facilities

SysTech, through its manufacturers, is also able to offer a host of other engineering topics that will count as PDH’s. These are available through webinars and Lunch & Learns. Let us know your needs as our manufacturers are constantly updating their presentation repertoire.
Lunch & Learns
Lunch and learns are designed to update and educate those in attendance on specific products where new technologies are reviewed, design techniques are demonstrated and applications are discussed. We’ll come to your facility, present a topic of your choosing, eat lunch and have a question and answer period. Most of our presentations take a multi-media approach using animations and videos to compliment the information and help reinforce the presented material.
On-site Product Trailer
SysTech periodically offers for review, a pull-behind product trailer that affords engineers or end-users, the opportunity to handle ventilation products and discuss specific pieces of equipment. These demonstrations have received high praise and have been invaluable to attendees, some who have specified equipment but have never seen the products. The equipment on the trailer is rotated each time we present it. The trailer we are now showing is by Hartzell Air Movement and has a grouping of centrifugal and axial FRP fans mounted on its deck. FRP ventilation products are key to longevity and efficiency when used in corrosive environments.
Trade Shows and Local Exhibits
SysTech provides information and products to review at trade shows and local exhibits. These events allow transfer of practical information, sharing of ideas and question & answer sessions.
We hope to be of service to you and become your resource for ventilation, noise and explosion mitigation and general air moving needs.
