On-site Inspection and Walkthrough Services

SysTech can assess your ventilation project by several means, including over the phone, internet, an on-site walkthrough, or a virtual inspection. In all cases, our application experience will make it easier to understand your issue or pending project. We always favor physical on-site visits for project assessment, as it is the fastest way to transmit information, understand the breadth of a project, and determine if surrounding areas will allow new equipment, system changes or equipment alterations. Whatever the ventilation issue, whether it is a fan installation, new dust collection system, noise issue, or explosion application, we will make ourselves available at the project site to determine the best solution. On-site visits are the most effective, and our technical application associates are typically available on short notice.

Virtual Inspection and Walkthrough Services


Virtual inspection, walkthroughs and troubleshooting of industrial ventilation systems from clients’ cell phones, laptops and tablets, enables a quick turnaround for the collection of crucial information, determining the root cause of a problem, or giving instruction for maintenance department personnel. We’ve been effectively employing remote virtual support as needed, for proposal preparation and where critical information was needed ASAP.  This service is more relevant today than ever before, and we want to alert all clients and future clients of its availability.

Step 2

During the walkthrough, we will review the application with you via cell phone or tablet. We will ask questions and determine if more data is required. If more clarification is needed, we’ll set up a conference call.
A SysTech project applications associate will send an invite to you, and others you would like to be included, at the preschedule time to initiate the session. We will review data, photos, specifications, drawings or other pertinent data that will help us resolve your question(s).

What is a virtual walkthrough?

A virtual walkthrough is a way of showing us your issues through your eyes.  It allows us to view the overall project or scope of your requirements and understand the questions you need answering.  Maybe it’s a dust collection system that is underperforming, a proposed explosion protection expansion, a high noise area in the facility, or a general plant ventilation issue.  We’ll see all obstructions to any proposed solutions immediately before we go into design mode.

What is a virtual inspection?

A virtual inspection targets a specific issue, piece of equipment, or system performance question that needs to be addressed. Inspections would include abnormal fan wheel/shaft noises, controls malfunction, dust collector filter abrasion, ineffective fume capture at a hood, or a leaking valve seal.  We’ll collect all pertinent information needed for resolving the issue.

What is a virtual inspection?

Virtual troubleshooting targets a specific problem that we attempt to solve on the spot or run through a series of tests to determine the root of the problem.  If equipment or controls are not functioning correctly, this is the quickest way to get a process back on-line.

Viewing ventilation equipment or systems allows us to understand better your questions or concerns about performance, repairs, or safety.  It will prompt us to ask you to collect the needed information before we arrive at the site or generate a proposal for equipment and services.  Don’t lose time until we can get to your site.  We can do the preliminary investigation and necessary data collection from our offices before we arrive.
